Information and Contact Details

If anybody would like to know more about the VAE experience or even apply to go out to Kenya, then check out the following web site. the guy you need to talk to is Simon Harris, who organises the whole event. it is pretty tough to get in touch with him but he's in the country for bout 6 months at a time, mostly between may and october…i think! undergraduates, graduates, you name it, they want you, and believe me you wont have a better time!!

Creed

i know this is a bit out of the pop selection for me to be reviewing it, but this is one of my all time fav cds. for those who dont know, creed are a christian rock band, and have just split up after 4 top albums. theyre absolutely huge in the states, and quite big here. check out track 6, my sacrifice, my all time favourite song. if u want an uplifitng rock cd, to fill you with a bit of optimism then this is the one, genuine tuneage!

_if u like the chillis then this is the cd for you! especially if you don't know much about them then this is a great intro to their greatest hits…and there's been quite a few of them!!
so if ur not really into listening to their whole shindig of tunes, then this cuts straight to the chase!_

Life of Pi

Life of Pi is a very unique book, i've never read anything quite like it. it maps the life of a young Indian boy who discovers religion….three of them! its really bizarre how he worships in the context of all three religions, ignoring the divisions that separate them. Anyway, he eventually moves to Canada with his Dad's zoo, but the container ship sinks en route. escaping in a lifeboat with a zebra, lion, hyena and orangutang, his amazing escape from the clutches of nature takes place as he turns from a shy, vegetarian boy into a savage survivor, who must combat the elements and the animals….good read.
