SIFE encourages students to set themselves up in teams to carry out projects which help the community in a sustainable and enterprising way. It is an international not-for-profit organisation set up in the United States in 1975 and is now present in 1,600 universities and in 40 countries. Each year competitions are held in every SIFE country and the winners go to the global competition: the World Cup. The competitions offer an unparalleled experience to the business, community and academic worlds.
Team Leader: Neil McGregor
Competition History: Observed at SIFE UK National Competition, 2004
SIFE at Warwick will bring together students involved in projects specifically set up for SIFE, and those involved in AddVenture, the Warwick University entrepreneurship club.
AddVenture focuses on students who are opening their own business or striving to bring change to their communities. The team will develop the Warwick part of Bizcom business plan competition.
For all those interested in becoming part of an international network looking to make a difference in any community through our varied project work please visit the SIFE SITE or send an e-mail to Neil McGregor
