Dating back to when I was in the 7th grade I have been health conscious. I have dedicated my entire life to finding out everything about every kind of diet and its effects including the number of calories contained in every food item, but the problem with me is I love food! I have a major sweet tooth and I enjoy good food. There are times when I can balance my intake with what I burn – but when i cannot I gain weight and then its ATKINS to my rescue!
I must tell people who don’t know – it is definately not easy to follow Atkins because due to the excessive protein and fat intake you tend to have a weird feeling all throughout the day, but that happens only if you don’t exercise or be active.
Can anyone guess how much weight can be lost following Atkins for a week? Upto 10 lbs.!!
I started a fitness centre back home for Obese women and girls. This centre kept me on my toes and I could help people by designing weight-loss programmes for them and help them gain back their lost confidence. When people try to lose weight the best solution according to me is Atkins as it requires just a little determination and gives amazingly fast results!
I remember my sister was trying to reduce weight and there was a point when her weight got stuck and would not reduce beyond a particular point. That was the time I told her about Atkins and now she has such an amazing figure that it drives me nuts!!! :-$
Atkins does not require any will power as you can choose to not exercise at all and stick to a protein and fat diet including- chicken, bacon, beef, eggs, butter, cheese, black coffee, yogurt, duck, fish together with pepper (green, yellow and red), tomatoes, etc.
In the first week of following Atkins the maximum weight-loss takes place and if the diet is followed strictly and the desired weight is lost then the day meals can be substituted with small quantities of carbohydrates every week.
Celebs including Jennifer Anniston and Mathew Perry follow Atkins regularly and love it… I know coz I'm crazy about F.R.I.E.N.D.S…!
Interesting isn’t it?
