URGENT: An unprecendented response to the tsunami is needed from YOU

Writing about web page http://www.dec.org.uk

Absolute carnage. Everyone went to sleep after a nice christmas, content with all things turkey (or other veggie alternative) and woke up to absolute disastrous carnage.

Being a Sri Lankan descendant, I have lost relatives and friends in this awful event… and am now only too keen to push the Warwick Uni relief efforts, starting tomorrow. Plans are already underway for the largest response to a natural disaster this university has seen, and I'm calling all those who are equally moved and enthusiastic in helping, to get in touch with me, so we can form a coordinated effort

Everyone has heard the stories, and seen the pictures that will haunt us for a lifetime, it's time now for Warwick Uni to do something big to help those people actually living this nightmare.

So please, give generously to the DEC, and for those of you who want to do that bit more, pls contact me so you can be proud of being in the team that coordinates an unprecedented response from Warwick Uni to this totally unprecedented disaster.

My sincere sympathy goes out to any Warwick Uni students who have also lost loved ones, I urge you to put your sadness and grief into a positive outlet, like I am.

Look forward to hearing from loadsa ppl.. :)
