Spy Media goes under cover

Follow-up to Spy Media from Acada-Me

Since I said I’d check back to see how the site progresses I don’t think anything has changed. Spy Media is an interesting concept, but without a big audience it doesn’t really work. I’ve emailed the creators to see why they’ve stopped posting as well, but I haven’t heard anything back.

So if you are set on making millions from your photographic genuis, you’re going to have to try another approach!

Spy Media

Writing about web page

Today I came across Spy Media. Its a Web 2.0 style site which allows you to upload photos like Flickr, but with the added twist of trying to sell them or submit them to meet peoples existing requirements (bounties).

In true Web 2.0 style the site is currently in Beta (does no one finish code these days?) and it looks like traffic is fairly slow there at the moment, but I’ve put a couple of photos on there and will be checking back to see how the site progresses.

I’ve also added their stream onto my sidebar to see how it looks.
