Thank you Odeon
Sites like these are often used as places to complain about bad service, so I’m pleased to be able to record some good service here instead.
A couple of weeks back I booked tickets to go and see James Bond at the Odeon. The night I was due to go and see the film there was a crash on the motorway and the traffic meant I was unable to get to the cinema on time. On the off chance I called Odeon, and they said they would refund my money.
My card bill arrived today and they have even refunded the booking fee, at least there was a silver lining to my spoiled evening.

Yes, a good lesson in standing up and asking, it’s surprising how often companies will give you a refund or a discount if you ask, even as in this case the problem wasn’t even theirs!
