Spy Media goes under cover

Follow-up to Spy Media from Acada-Me

Since I said I’d check back to see how the site progresses I don’t think anything has changed. Spy Media is an interesting concept, but without a big audience it doesn’t really work. I’ve emailed the creators to see why they’ve stopped posting as well, but I haven’t heard anything back.

So if you are set on making millions from your photographic genuis, you’re going to have to try another approach!

Yeah, too bad. It is a good idea, and a good web site too, but the business model isn’t working. Network effect. Chicken and egg problem. It took off with eBay, but not here. I think that if eBay decided to go into this business, it would take off immediately.
