Caught this last night. Didn’t know that it was such a great movie. Renee’s performance was indeed an Oscar material. Just found out that she won an Oscar for her role as the rowdy country girl. She was my favourite character! Well deserving!!! I know I know that was like 3 years ago. I am a bit ignorant when it comes to the Oscars and esp movies that have anything to do with war, etc. But this film is indeed a gem. Jude absolutely excelled. So did Nicole but less endearing compared to Renee.
