Working from home

Still in my dressing robe, I can’t help but feel so domestic. But strangely enough I’m not doing any housework but my research reading. Started on a chapter of a book on the mechanics and mechanisms of fractures. I must say that it is quite interesting that my research includes a lot of physical and mechanical ideas. Learning about elastoplasticity and viscosity is so relevant to what I’m trying to do in my experiments. Thank God for helping me to understand. I’m not sure yet of what the final formulation of ideas from my readings would look like but I’m optimistic that great things will come out from this. However, I have not actually done a lot. Crawling slowly. But lets enjoy the scenery while I research-stroll.

Anyway, Ill be away again this weekend.. a long easter weekend.. hurrah! Thank you God for sacrificing your son to save us all. Alleluia!! Jesus died for another. The unblemished lamb of God to atone for our sins.

On top of the prophecy about Jesus in the book of Isaiah, the same theme flows in the bible. Here are a few that I could remember:

i) God sacrificed a lamb and took the skin to clothe Adam and Eve after they had wronged Him.
ii) The Jewish custom where to atone sins, an unblemished lamb had to be sacrificed.
iii) Abraham displayed His faith in God by surrendering his son, Isaac to God for sacrifice.
iv) The Pass-Over: The house painted with the blood of the sacrificed lamb were passed over by the spirit of death. The house without the painted blood suffered a lost of its first born son.
v) John the baptist, whilst preaching, screamed “behold the Lamb of God” when he saw Jesus.
vi) It was during the passover when Jesus was on trial and He took the place of Barabas (whom the Jews asked to be released). He died in the place of another.
vii) Jesus died on the cross without any fault and when He died the cloth that separated the people from the Holy Temple tore into 2.
viii) Rising from the dead displays God’s power against death. This is an assurance that death is not the end.
