Lethalgy and headache
Serve me right for retiring to bed at 3 this morning and was overly confident that I didn’t need a duvet. Woke up at 8 am and went back to bed. Got up at about 10 and I felt poorly. But i soldiered on with my presentation slides. I seemed to be divinely inspired to do the work I’ve planned for next Tuesday. Completed about 70% of it and now I’ve got this annoying headache. It’s nearly 3 pm and I need lunch! A couple of chicken nuggets are baking in the oven as we speak. God, give me strength!!!!
Off to my officemate’s band’s gig tonite at Barfly, Birmingham. Should be fun. I’ve asked Naomi to accompany me.
Anyways, I’m still in my dressing gown feeling rather unfit!!!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jer. 29: 11-13.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
