Brassy beneath hand, hard;

Vindictive vines of metal

Trap a nutshell of mankind.

Where, there in darkness, shadows,

There are no straight answers.

Taunted by the greenist apple;

Alluring.

No more brave heroes here

To ride stale white stallions;

Climb highest trees.

We doubt.

Dutifully.

Follow the path laid out.

Innovation in conformity.

What are you doing?

Joys of childhood are lost.

Not yet forgotten;

But soon.
