Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 3 days):

  • 98 carrot fly - 3 traps and only sampling in the new carrots now

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 21 male and 0 female cabbage root fly
  • 24 bean seed fly
  • 358 pollen beetle
  • 602 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 23 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps (2 per species).

Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):

  • 102 (old carrots) and 115 (new carrots) carrot fly - 3 traps per crop

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 4 male and 1 female cabbage root fly
  • 29 bean seed fly
  • 38 pollen beetle
  • 7 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 21 (15 plants).

One turnip moth (cutworm) in the pheromone traps (2 per species).

Pest update from Wellesbourne

Yesterday's trap captures were (over 3 days):

  • 48 (old carrots) and 55 (new carrots) carrot fly - 3 traps per crop

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 16 male and 1 female cabbage root fly
  • 15 bean seed fly
  • 89 pollen beetle
  • 1 cabbage stem weevil
  • 34 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 28 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps.

Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):

  • 166 (old carrots) and 113 (new carrots) carrot fly - 3 traps per crop

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 14 male and 1 female cabbage root fly
  • 35 bean seed fly
  • 96 pollen beetle
  • 3 cabbage stem weevil
  • 35 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 7 (15 plants).

1 diamondback moth (2 pheromone traps).

Pest update from Wellesbourne

Friday's trap captures were (over 3 days):

  • 166 (old carrots) and 80 (new carrots) carrot fly - 3 traps per crop

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 15 male and 2 female cabbage root fly
  • 35 bean seed fly
  • 139 pollen beetle
  • 4 cabbage stem weevil
  • 27 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 19 (15 plants).

1 silver Y moth (2 pheromone traps).

Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):

  • 191 (old carrots) and 35 (new carrots) carrot fly - 3 traps per crop

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 3 male and 4 female cabbage root fly
  • 90 bean seed fly
  • 357 pollen beetle
  • 21 cabbage stem weevil
  • 4 flea beetle
  • 1 cabbage stem flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 33 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps.

  • 413 carrot fly

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 4 male and 0 female cabbage root fly
  • 50 bean seed fly
  • 84 pollen beetle
  • 5 cabbage stem weevil
  • 3 flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 11 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps.
