Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):

  • 19 carrot fly - 3 traps

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 83 male and 15 female cabbage root fly
  • 10 bean seed fly
  • 4 pollen beetle
  • 257 flea beetle
  • 8 cabbage stem weevil
  • 1 cabbage seed weevil
  • 5 cabbage stem flea beetle
  • 4 small whte butterfly

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 29 (15 plants).

Four turnip moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
