Pest update from Wellesbourne

Friday's trap captures were (over 3 days):

  • 5 carrot fly - 3 traps and only sampling in the new carrots now

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 50 male and 10 female cabbage root fly
  • 19 bean seed fly
  • 537 pollen beetle
  • 68 flea beetle
  • 39 cabbage stem weevil
  • 1 cabbage seed weevil

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 13 (15 plants).

1 turnip moth, 1 silver Y moth and 1 diamondback moth in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
