AHDB Aphid News

The latest edition of AHDB News has just been published.

The information below relates to suction-trap samples collected during Bulletin Week 3: 04/4 – 10/4.

  • A field report has been received of mealy cabbage aphids (Brevicoryne brassicae) in winter OSR in the west midlands.
  • No peach–potato aphids have been caught in the suction-trap this week.
  • Two willow ̶carrot aphids were caught this week, both were first arrivals, one at York and one at Writtle, the latter being three weeks earlier than the 10-year average.
