Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 3 days):

  • 104 carrot fly - 3 traps and only sampling in the new carrots now

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 28 male and 24 female cabbage root fly
  • 25 bean seed fly
  • 101 pollen beetle
  • 114 flea beetle
  • 27 cabbage stem weevil

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 40 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
