Pest update from Wellesbourne

These are the numbers of insects captured between 22nd and 25th September.

Yellow water traps (3)

  • 46 male and 5 female cabbage root fly
  • 13 bean seed fly
  • 1 flea beetle
  • 1 cabbage stem flea beetle

Sticky traps for carrot fly (3)

  • 114 carrot fly

Pheromone traps - 2 per species

  • Diamond-back moth 0
  • Silver Y moth 0
  • Turnip moth (cutworm) 0

3 cabbage root fly eggs on 15 cauliflower plants
