Pest update from Wellesbourne

Yellow water traps and pheromone traps were installed again at Wellesbourne on 19th May. The counts are below. The carrot fly trap counts are also shown.

Yellow water traps (3)

  • 8 male and 3 female cabbage root fly
  • 8 bean seed fly
  • 7 flea beetles
  • 1346 pollen beetles
  • 51 cabbage stem weevil
  • 13 cabbage seed weevil
  • 4 cabbage stem flea beetle

Sticky traps for carrot fly (3)

  • 140 flies

Pheromone traps - 2 per species

  • Diamond-back moth 0
  • Silver Y moth 0
  • Turnip moth (cutworm) 1
