Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):

  • 6 carrot fly - 3 traps

In the three yellow water traps:

  • 32 male and 18 female cabbage root fly
  • 22 bean seed fly
  • 3 pollen beetle
  • 45 flea beetle
  • 1 cabbage stem weevil
  • 1 cabbage stem flea beetle

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 15 (15 plants).

Four turnip moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
