Pest update from Wellesbourne

Today's trap captures were (over 4 days):

• 22 carrot fly - 3 traps and only sampling in the new carrots now

In the three yellow water traps:

• 43 male and 23 female cabbage root fly
• 8 bean seed fly
• 448 pollen beetle
• 81 flea beetle
• 68 cabbage stem weevil
• 4 cabbage seed weevil

We are sampling for cabbage root fly eggs and there were 48 (15 plants).

No moths in the pheromone traps (2 traps per species).
