Pest update from Wellesbourne

When the water traps in the swede plot were checked on Tuesday 5th November there were:

  • 7 male and 5 female cabbage root flies
  • 99 bean seed flies
  • 4 pollen beetles
  • 4 cabbage stem weevil

There were 82 carrot flies on the 3 sticky traps.

No diamond-back moths, 2 turnip moths, 1 silver Y moth and no cabbage moths were captured in pheromone traps. There are 2 traps for each species.
