New year's resolutions

a) to get fit (involves running the Shakespeare half marathon, detoxing and eating healthily)

b) to be perfect (no more strops, stompiness or crying) *

c) to memorise all trivial pursuits questions ever written (or at least read the occasional newspaper to stop being such an ignoramous)

d) to be canonised (involves becoming catholic and performing some miracles before eventually dying some time toward the end of 2005)

e) to travel to lots of interesting places, including (or perhaps especially) those on my own doorstep c.f. The Art of Travel

*probably failed at b) within the first couple of hours of 2005 and certainly by the second day (stomped foot at Phil and Jamie in Doncaster train station carpark). So I have given up on this one as a Bad Idea.
