TROTT's 101 Ways to Pass the Time: #65 Scaring Old Folks
Dress up as Death - with full cowl and scythe garb - and creep around outside a retirement home, occasionally turning to look through a window to give the residents a knowing nod.
It would probably work best if the staff are in on the joke; that way they can ignore you...

Tick tock tick tock…
I've just come across an interesting poll on one of the websites I frequent:
If you had the opportunity to know the time and place of your death, would you want to know?
I was torn between the two, until I realised that knowing when I was going to die would lend a certain futility to my life; I'd probably have even less inclination to do anything (currently it's just laziness; laziness and a sense of mortality would not be a good combination), along the lines of "What's the point, I'm going to be dead in like 50 years."
So I went for "No" (as had a majority of people at that point, but only just over 50%) because then at least I'd try to achieve things.
Then I though that it might be nice to know something like a week in advance, so I could get my affairs in order, as it were.

Seen on the 'greenboard' in PLT
"Can death be fatal?", or words to that effect…I’d have to go with "no" because I think death is more of a 'symptom' of whatever kills you. Whoever heard of anyone dying of death?
