This is a local film for local people!
Are you local!?
I rather enjoyed The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse. It had Tubbs and Edward for one thing, although they had a disappointingly small amount of screen time; the main characters in the film were Hillary Bris, Herr Lipp, and the gruff one from the Mau–Mau joke.
The plot revolves around the impending destruction of their fictional world. Their only hope is to come to our world to seek aid from the only four people that can help…
Much hilarity and memorable catchphrases later, we have a film that is satisfyingly similar to the series without being too trite about it.
If you liked the original, I'm sure you'll like the film. At least it's still the same cast; well, three of them…
