Why WSC is better than the Arts Centre cinema

WSC, when compared to the cinema in the Arts Centre, has:

  • More seats
  • A bigger auditorium
  • A bigger screen
  • A better sound system
  • A more varied schedule
  • A schedule arranged in collaboration with students
  • Cheaper tickets
  • The Allnighter
  • The ability to show 70mm films
  • and probably a few things I can't think of right now

  2. But you could see our films or free, which is the next best thing.
Anyway, as an Arts Centre steward most of my points wouldn't affect you since you wouldn't buy the ticket, etc.
The points were mainly for the 'Warwick student on the street' who comes to see the films…

  4. That's because no-one wants to clear the damn stuff up…
Plus, technically, food isn't allowed in L3 (Uni rules)

  5. L3 has better air conditioning… and less comfy chairs so one can't fall asleep

  6. the air con in the arts centre is good, having worked there all summer having to remember an extra jumper for when the film starts i can undoubtedly say that the air conditioning in the srts centre cinema is good, and it's one of the few parts of the arts centre that hasn't started letting in water!
