More BBC Comedy
So the Comedy on the BBC news website forums has gotten to extremes now. It seems like every idiot with a computer has found a way to validate their opinions. My favourite one is:
“Tower Hamlets is replacing a traditional firework display with a Bengali folk tale theme. I’m not a ‘little Englander’, but I feel that our history and traditions need to be upheld. Guy Fawkes night is part of our cultural identity and should remain so.
Vote BNP at the next election and show this government this has got to stop.”
There’s something that doesn’t quite add up there.

Hahahaha. I’m just reading that link now and there’s some absolutely classic comments from people in there. I’m only on the third page and already I’ve come across a few complaining about animal rights, a bloke who thinks Easter is a celebration of “a guy being flogged and nailed to a tree”, someone thinking he’s doing the world a favour by stopping his fireworks at midnight (despite the law stating 11pm) and best of all, this hilarious one:
”...People on benefits, and those who live on council estates should be banned from buying them.”
