Yes – i admit it – i am actually seriously considering going to speed dating (if its running again this year in the uni). Where else am i going to find and chat to nice, single girls that are looking – cause i havent met anyone new in the first 5 weeks of term (or over christmas in fact). OK ive been having fun / good laughs on nights out – and am a lot happier now – but its been more about me going out and having fun rather than the fact that im still single / not found anyone.
Its like – me? chat up line? eeemmm – i dont think so. Me? on the pull – you're having a laugh arent you? But yet im not sure im after a gf – something with less commitment that'll be fun until the end of uni (only 4 months or so left :s ) would be great.
However, this kinda involves knowing if anyone likes me – though its not something im usually too good at judging at all. (Being sent matches after speed dating kinda takes care of that i suppose.)
Im just feeling like – yes im having a good time – not feeling alone or depressed at all (unlike last term) – and yet it would be really nice to meet someone.
And i have no clue how.
(hell i know – should have run for a sabb position – then everyone would have seen / met me & decided they didnt like me along with all the other candidates :D With the added bonus of actually getting to stay a quasi-student for another year if i actually were elected. Ha.
Thankfully have not been exposed to high levels of campus election fever yet….. only one week of hype to survive…...)

Not been this tired for a long long long time – since the end of 3 peaks challenge last year in fact
I've just finished playing 5 hours of non-stop 5-a-side hockey as part of the mens womens and mixed hockey clubs 12 hour marathon hockey match. When I left it at the 6 hour mark the score was 106–96, and I had scored 36 of those…. hehe
All sponsorship is going to Children in Need – and if anyone wants to go all and support they are most welcome – they're still playing now up at the Westwood Astros until the finish at 10pm tonight.
Still – all good for the fitness and all – just am going to prob sleep for a week now. Final episodes of Lost on tonight – so looking forward to them.

had a cracking christmas – sister still away in Ghana (though finished teaching and now travelling) – so first christmas ever with just me and my parents – really nice for a change. Nice little 3 day golfing holiday after christmas was great too.
christmas hols basically consisted of eat sleep piano work(computer), and very unusually for me back home – going out plently too. One night bumped into 10 old school mates in the same pub – also bumped into others when down town on Hogmanay. Talking of which – what better night can you ask for than 200,000 people all having fun, getting pissed, watching massive fireworks and listening to live music – and all with such a good spirirt we were playing drinking games with random new zealanders in the street ?
Anyway – really good hols – and first week of term has been continuation of the theme – so nice to be out enjoying myself.
