just a little bit of fun – try it yourself !

ok so I was making some passport photos (about 20) using a digital camera, a light and a white sheet – so that I could print them off and take them round the world during my gap year for all the visas and forms I'll be filling in.

and I got bored. I mean really bored. basically ready to go, hence the work to do always expands to fill the time – correct? having installed 3 velux blinds I was looking for something more fun…..

soooo – I decide wouldnt it be fun to chop my face in half – then produce mirror images of each half and create 2 new Richard Taylors. I really wish I hadnt. Its scary…....

(this comes with a disclaimer – the original photo below is the one I'll be using/taking with me – and its at a very slight tilt – so chopping in half required angled boxes – and so the final mirrored images might be slightly thinner faced to get the perfect overlap. even so…)

passport photo

now if you take MY left hand side of my face – you get:

my left hand side doubled over

and my right you get this result:

my right hand side doubled over

so perhaps ignoring the hair – that's just scary. friggin freaky. and my left side's wishing I hadn done this now…. I like my right side…..

in order, final thoughts on the matter above:
errr me
britain's most wanted
soon to be the face of some designer brand or something

  2. Hello my dear!

See – classically handsome/beautiful people look the same when you take one half of their face and mirror it. I'd say that there is pretty conclusive evidence – I always said it ;)

  7. Variety is indeed the spice of life, but I was pointing out how perfectly symmetrical your face was, so take the compliment, dammit!

  10. Hah, thanks for the suggestion for an extra way to fill time! I may actually try it :P The results will be scary, but more than likely so will the original!

By the way, hope you’re having a fantastic time travelling everywhere atm!
