  1. hugs
Don't be miserable – life's too short. I refer you to The Pig Of Happiness

(and other marvellous spirit lifting Edward Monkton things…)

  3. (life and) uni being too short is another of my problems – feel like im running out of time to have fun too

this year has been soooo different thus far, and it has unfortunately changed me

  4. Nonono this is a bad feeling!! Make the most of your final year!! There are ways and means of meeting random people- I met some really interesting and brand new people last year when I was single, and through some fairly unconventional routes…which I'm not going to necessarily reveal on an open blog. Go join volunteers or something like that-would be something to do and might give you a sense of well being as well as meeting new people?

Also, plan something for the summer, if you can-go to Australia on your own, or New Zealand, or Thailand, or South America-sure fire way to meet people :) Plus something to look forward to.

And you don't need someone to make you happy-because then, if you break up then you're left really unhappy. If you can be happy on your own, then you can stay happy :)

  5. on the planning note – ive got loads that im going to be doing next year – Gap Year travelling round the world – and hopefully before that i can land another summer internship in the city and get even more funds to burn

so the future's bright (perhaps not quite orange) but its the here and now thats bugging me – its not the work, or lack of food or excerise (far too much hockey for my own good in fact) – its something else thats really getting me down. This has never happened to me before – used to always be a cheery chappy in the first 3 years of uni – and so the change is something im not liking….

i might join the scottish society (being from "up there") – volunteering will prob chew up too much of my precious spare time. Although saying that – its only when i have time to stop and think that i get miserable
