even better to be back

had a cracking christmas – sister still away in Ghana (though finished teaching and now travelling) – so first christmas ever with just me and my parents – really nice for a change. Nice little 3 day golfing holiday after christmas was great too.

christmas hols basically consisted of eat sleep piano work(computer), and very unusually for me back home – going out plently too. One night bumped into 10 old school mates in the same pub – also bumped into others when down town on Hogmanay. Talking of which – what better night can you ask for than 200,000 people all having fun, getting pissed, watching massive fireworks and listening to live music – and all with such a good spirirt we were playing drinking games with random new zealanders in the street ?

Anyway – really good hols – and first week of term has been continuation of the theme – so nice to be out enjoying myself.
