To those of you who haven't come accross the fantastic site linked to, "nannyknowsbest.com" lists some of the most absurd things decreed by the nanny state in the UK.

Here is a wonderful example of cooing at babies being banned since it breaches their human rights.

I agree with the article in its wonderful, succinct assesment of this lunacy.
