that idiot–boy in the corner is speaking deviated truths
babe i’m on fire
candles wax my books
waning they will wean their way
babe i am on fire
the athlete with his hernia says it
i can’t think of it
of anything to say i’ll
say this anyway
picasso with his guernica says it
towards saturday
my days march dazed too much i
fill valentine time
my wife with her furniture
sunning my punning
what time, what rime for my rhyme?
sunned entwined and done
everybody!
fifth verse same as the
first verse dirth, amass àmatt
bam bas bat see that?

False advertising. That ain’t no haiku. That ain’t even a fiveku.
Don’t tell me you’ve invented the fourku.
Or even the fourk. (Fork?)

Which particular stanza are you taking issue with Nick?
And for all his undoubted greatness, can Oli really claim to have invented the fork? I fear not.

I failed to notice that Oli has started titling his haikus. I thought he’d invented some strange kind of four-line variant.

Ah yes, the spork – bastard hybrid of spoon and fork. Will there ever be an invention to surpass the spork? I fear (hope) not.

i know you have a postgraduate degree to worry about and all, but since the tapfactory is an unmitigated disappointment, and there’s absolutely nothing worth reading on the blogs anymore, i could do with a few new haikus to peruse.
