This is the head of my project spec, to give some idea about the task:
Title: Co-operational AI in an Empire building game.
The Problem: The creation of an Empire building game in which the opponent, and any computer-controlled minions of the player, are driven by an AI which is limited to working with what its units can detect, without a “Hand of god” overview.
The game itself requires the player to collect natural resources, such as fish, wood, metal ores, and grain, and process them into finished goods, such as weapons or structures. The objective being to build an efficient economy to allow the production of more military units that the opposition – and so ensure victory.
Examples of similar commercial games would be Settlers and Knights and Merchants.
