As a polar bear, I am interested in many polar regions around the world – none more so than the far northeastern Russian autonomous region of Chukotka. Summers here are very short and cool. It has native settlers related to American Indians called Chukchi. But this is not why it is 'a special one'.

rararara It is governed by one of my favourite egomaniacs, Roman Arkad'evich Abramovich, an oil magnate incidentally who owns an English football club called Chelsea. The state of the pitch at Stamford Bridge may seem rather green compared to this piece of tundra.

Here is a link to find out more about Anadyr , the principal town of this remote province. Note the slightly brown-nosing tone of Abramovich by the authoress.

Yours freezingly,

Bugadoo est arrivé!!!

This blog is not for those who are not partial to the musings of a polar teddy bear and his antics.

Warning Deceptive saccharine image of said bear.
