The Seasons
Remembering the tears in autumn shed..
When expectations grew and a hope was crushed.
A heart was shut and closed…
When the hope in it died.
Remembering the bitter winter cold..
Despondent and despair my forlorn heart felt.
Hurt and fear filled this little heart…
But the heart continued to beat as God's love never ceased.
I hear the birds singing in spring..
When flowers start to bloom again.
The heart has learnt from past seasons..
That nothing matters as much as having God's light shinning like the summer's sun.
