A reminder of distant youth – had their only album which had to sell in a crisis. Always regretted it.

Been looking for something, anything for some time and am absurdly excited therefore now this is about to be released.

Extraordinary

I know this has been around for some years and that many others will have fruitlessly recommended it in the past but, having received as a Xmas gift, I am completely bowled over by the originality of this album. Simply can't believe I've not picked it up before. But it is absolutely brilliant and pre-figures some of the most interesting stuff of more recent years, esp Arcade Fire.

Just do it.

MES delivers the goods again

Another outstanding production from TMF, with some new classics, including esp:

• Pacifying joint
• What about us?
• Assume
• Bo Demmick
• Clasp hands (including choice reference to 'wolverines'...)

It's not often you get a cover of a Move song which is even worse than the original but MES and co manage it successfully here with 'I can hear the grass grow'.
