Cereal is a very serious subject that divides the world’s people. On one side of the breakfast table we have the early birds catching Weetabix, the other side, usually splashing milk about and leaving notorious milk circles under the bowl, is the merry merry coco shreddie cereal eater.
Serious cereal eaters laugh at merry merry coco shreddie eaters. Usually out of the side of their mouths behind their papers. Merry merry coco shreddie cereal eaters are blissfully unaware of this as they are too busy munching down their captain crunch and playing with their new neon rhino.
Of course, cereal is a spectrum ranging from All-Bran to Cookie Crisp and you may find yourself right or left spoon. If you are towards the right spoon you will find yourself reading lots of broadsheets and eating biscuits of Shredded Wheat. If you are towards the left spoon you will be eating more ricicles than alpen and less special k than frosties.
I'm a merry merry coco shreddie cereal eater and my current cereals of choice are sugar puffs and frosted wheats (which close the gap between the merry merry coco shreddie and the serious, which is for later discussion).
I now put it to the floor: Are you left or right spoon or do you completely disagree with my sweeping cereal eating generalisations? (I'm particularly interested in finding a merry-merry-coco-shreddie-serious-cereal-eating hybrid that reads the Telegraph but also eats nestle lucky charms.)
