To Gareth

A dedication to GARETH

It would probably be inappropriate to text you, even more so to call you and it's very difficult to visit you at the moment, as I'm going back to Cheltenham for a little while. But let this be a message you find when you return to Uni (hopefully soon because it REALLY isn't the same without you in chemistry lectures, everyone misses you).
I hope you're back on track as soon as possible, if you need any help in the future or any notes to copy, don't hesitate to ask me.
Wishing you loads of luck, cya soon :D

The Scariest Thing

I'm sure every reader has their own individual phobia.
I wonder what's coming into your minds… Spiders? Heights? No?

You may laugh when i tell you mine but i stand by it…
Personally, I can't think of anything scarier than the News.
I can promise you all you'll never watch anything more terrifying on the TV.
It is my most profound fear and continues to be almost every day.
Yesterday, I felt it as strong as ever.
Ken Bigley (British Iraqi Prisoner) fought for his life for 3 weeks and finally lost it yesterday. He shared the same fate as his two American friends. And the whole thing was filmed. His family have seen it as confirmation.

I write about it but I think it's probably best not to think about.

My tip to you? Only watch the news if you think you can take it.
It really does make me feel unimaginably lucky and I'm going to enjoy today if only because I'm still luckier enough to have it.

A Poem to you ALL

Hi to all you girls and boys,
I thought I’d actually make some noise,
And wish you all a happy time,
While I try to make this rhyme,

I’d like to meet and greet you all,
The wise, the nice, the funny and the tall,
This poem’s for you from me for now,
All you warwicker’s, you’re just so, WOW!

Any comments must be in verse,
Believe me, the rhyming, it cant get much worse,
So I leave you bloggers with tonnes of good luck

With regards to the rhyming I’m now quite stuck.

Love to you all, give me a call.

As you can see, I have talent in poem-writing ;)

My Learning Style, it's a Chemistry thing…

And i came out as a Reflector…

*Reflectors like to stand back to ponder experiences and observe them from different perspectives. They collect data, both first hand and from others, and prefer to think about it thoroughly before coming to any conclusion. Because the thorough collection and analysis of data about experiences and events is what counts, they tend to postpone reaching definitive conclusions for as long as possible. Their philosophy is to be cautious. They are thoughtful people who like to consider all possible angles and implications before making a move. They enjoy observing other people in action. They listen to others and get the drift of the discussion before making their own points. They tend to adopt a low profile and have a slightly distant, tolerant, unruffled air about them. When they act it is part of a wide picture which includes the past as well as the present and others' observations as well as their own. *

Hmmm, pretty accurate. I am quite a perfectionist (does anyone else get really annoyed when people don't line drink mats perfectly up to the corners of the table? Nope, just me then). It's true that i prefer everything pre-planned because surprises get me flustered. But then again, i wouldn't say that i keep a low profile in discussions as it's a key importance for everyone to verbally express their ideas and SHARE. I've always thought that if people studying completely different courses put their heads together they could come up with much more sophisticated answers to problems that looked at a huge range of intellectual angles rather than one narrow-minded way. Therefore, all Chemists should start mingling with Historians for instance and talk through major issues… just a thought.
Anyway, everyone should have a go at the Qaire.
