Team rather than individual!!
"We don`t need competition but cooperation.." This words of Deming remind me of the importance of this situation which is very common especially in American and European companies. It is good to remember once again that in these areas of world, including Turkey, company cultures are settled on more of competition rather than cooperation within the organisation, employees try to show they are better than each other in order to gain their employer's attention and this may harm the company rather than improving itself. Considering the fact that all the employees differ from each other and have different individual strenghts than one other, it is impossible to ignore the advantages coming from an efficient team work.
Top managers need to see and understand the importance of team work. Unfortunately this term is very well known in every organisation but its usage for the companies is open to question. To encourage people for team work and to reward the success of the team by this way will let the company to improve and strenghten the relationships between people in the organisation. So i'm happy to remember how important it is to be a team once again.
