Talking OnePage

It has been a long while since I blogged here, the reason being, I now blog on my personal domain Yeah, I am through with school, but I will talk about that later on.

OnePage also shows activities in real time also (i.e) activities on Twitter and co. You can see my OnePage. I hope you like OnePage as we plan to make it the default method of contact exchange.

It is important to note that OnePage is being founded with another Warwick alumni Joel

My Last 24 hours!

in the Last 24 hours, I found out my account has been compromised ( About 2000 pounds was removed, I am down to about 60), My Dad told me he survived a bad accident and I began creating the first of my Start ups I wonder what else this year has in store for me. I guess it will be very different. I have to just thank God for my Dad's life. Any other outcome woul have been a disaster I wish not to comprehend.

Tomorrow, I will go begin to battle with NatWest.

Christmas was with a family friend (The Mgbatogu's). I was made to feel at home. I am so grateful for that. I really missed the harmattan smell and the fireworks (Knockout has it's unique sound).

I have to go now.

Missing in action

I have been unable to keep up with updating my Blog. The last two weeks have been hell trying to submit my PMA's (GBE and GeB). Unfortunately, I did not do my best because I left it too late. Here and now I vow never to be caught unawares again.

Going through TIME's list of nominees for ‘Time Person of the Year’ Obama is the overwhelming favorite. Although am insanely a Barackomaniac, I think there is someone more qualified than Barack…THE AMERICAN VOTER!

The American Voters braved the harshest of weathers’ right from the Iowa primaries to the deciding day of November 5th 2008. They did it to vote for change, vote against long held prejudices and to shame those that hoped for the Bradley Effect. The American Voters made the world proud again and the world rejoiced in their victory.  Without them, there would have been no Barack Obama. They made Obama possible.

Giving the Time Person of the year to the American Voter will be a twofer; Obama will still win because he is an American Voter!

NB: I have a suggestion for the cover, a photomosaic image (American Voters) of Obama with an American flag skin.

Secondly, what do I get for my accurate predictionJ?

I got my first ever online purchase delivered to me today. I bought earphones from Amazon. It actually arrived before the start date of the "delivery estimate". I am extremely impressed. The only problem I have with shopping online and especially Amazon is that they make it soo easy to spend all your money. I have bought 5 books in two days! Na wahalla I dey so!

Meanwile I recieved my TMobile contract line. 350 mins and 650 texts for 15 pounds a month. I think it is a good bargain. but...These people want me to talk forever on the phone? or have blisters from sending texts.

Barack Oshiomole was decleared winner of Edo States election by the appeal court. He will be sworn in today. It seems Barack Omania is coming to town. Meanwhile, a nigerian satelite is missing from space.

For the sake of writing

I just want to put down something. Since my last post, Obama has won the presidency of the United States. The song in Kenya says " It is easier for a Luo man(Obama's tribe) to be the president of US, than for him to be the President of Kenya" That says a lot about Africa. If I ever wanted to run for office in Nigeria, I would want it to be in Edo State (Where I was born and brought up). Wishful thinking.

My Letter to the world.

Dear All,

History is guaranteed to be made in this election,” Where were you on Nov 4th, 2008? What was your contribution?” are questions everybody will ask you in the future. I assure you, YOU will ask YOURSELF this question.  Your children will ask you, your children’s children will ask them, “What did grandma/grandpa do?”  What will be your response? What will be your children’s response?

It is up to you to decide, and act from now until that day. I know this is American politics but you have seen how “their” financial crisis has affected us around the world. How “their” foreign policies affects us all.

The world needs a steady hand in the helm of affairs in USA; we do not need people obsessed with war. We need someone that knows what to do about America’s economy, invariably tied to the world’s economy. We need BARACK OBAMA!

What can you do since you are not a citizen?

1.       Forward this mail to everyone in your address book.

2.       Call/email/text at least one American citizen you know to go and vote. Do that NOW!

3.       Pray for Obama’s safety

4.       Start writing your story about how you were part of history in putting BARACK OBAMA in the white house. I assure you, your children, theirs, and your generation to come, will enjoy every bit of it. They will certainly be proud of you.

I opened my window and saw ice drop from the sky. I am told it is snow, I almost ran out to celebrate but thought otherwise because I did not want the Brits to send the Nigerian back home for being a nusiance :-)
