Puzzle Donkey

Writing about web page http://www.puzzledonkey.com

Full of what are essentially riddles which are quite entertaining to solve! Feel free to discuss questions here but don't post answers! I'm on puzzle 13 at the moment, so can certainly help with any up to there.

  1. There is no question for puzzle three!

  2. Try refreshing the page, someone else had a problem with that question with the answer box not displaying.

    10 Dec 2005, 22:40

  3. I'm onto number 16 now… completely filled it in, but don't know what the answer is supposed to be!

    11 Dec 2005, 00:23

  4. 16?! I'm stuck on the first one!

    11 Dec 2005, 00:42

  5. hmm… got to 10 without too much difficulty

    11 Dec 2005, 11:38

  6. 1) It's not only good for looking up skirts

Great colin, maybe you can help me with 15? :)

    11 Dec 2005, 12:59

  7. I had to guess a bit on 15.
You should have already guessed that it's something roughly the same size as a bag of gems that it's impossible for the man to work without.

    11 Dec 2005, 14:15

  8. I can't even do 1 either :-( – so frustrating! Sure I'm just being thick lol

    11 Dec 2005, 21:38

  9. Naomi — think about what you would use to look up skirts, and many other things too.

Colin — Did 16! Follow squares according to richard.

    11 Dec 2005, 22:34

  10. Done up to and including 20!

    14 Dec 2005, 20:43

  11. Pro! I'm hovering about 18. I know the odd one out and the suffix, but I can't think of synonyms that would make an answer.

    14 Dec 2005, 23:53

  12. The suffix occurs more than once. That's important.

    15 Dec 2005, 09:45

  13. For 18, the title of the puzzle is a hint

    15 Dec 2005, 11:24

  14. I have to hang my head in shame, and admit that I started cheating around 16ish… although I managed to do 16 itself without cheating at all.
For question 15, I did guess the answer right, before realising that there was a playing card theme (is that too much of a hint?)

    16 Dec 2005, 18:36

  15. How do you define cheating, Colin?

I'm still stuck on 3. It has something to do with primary colours I think.

    10 Feb 2006, 20:32

  17. It is indeed to do with primary colours! Perhaps if you were to try and seperate them out?

    10 Feb 2006, 22:09

  18. Lyall Horner

Done that – stuck on 13 now

    20 Apr 2006, 13:44

  19. Well for example, Tic tac toe, Toe the line …. If you get on a specific one, ask for that one — The red boxes make a question :)

  20. Lyall Horner

    Got it now thanks

    3 is still bugging me!!

    12 Jun 2006, 09:34

  22. Think about the colours — perhaps use a primary colour wheel whilst you do this?
