I've recently applied to lots of jobs; and upon showing one to Terry he said the following: –
if this bit "The position is office based and all contact with both clients and candidates will be via the telephone." were changed to "The position is party based and all contact with both clients and candidates will be via expensive cocktail party with hot attractive beautiful women "
then it would be immense
I think that sums it up pretty well..

I've been getting up early recently; if you call 7am early. The plan each day is get up at 7, start work by 8, work through til 10, quick break and then work on til 1. If you actually stick to it, it works quite well, and I am getting done each day everything I need to.
Except today I went down to Amersham Hospt. to have a blood test. It opened at 8.30, yet I was advised to get there an hour early as not only does it get busy, but they often open early. However open arrival at 7.30, not only was there already a big queue, but I had to wait the full hour until they opened, and then went through the people in front of me. Not to mention the nurses surly attitude and lack of ability to stop the after-bruising.
Now I've just got to wait a week, and then go discuss it with my Doctor. Fun times ahead! Although I have to admit, even though I'm just writing essays all the time its not that bad. Friends are coming round on wednesday eve, others back at the weekend, and a Wycombe home match to look forward to. I have also scheduled the whole weekend off; so I can hopefully get some good sleep in.
It seems the whole of the psychology 3rd year is panicking about getting all the essays and projects writen up in time to start revising. Roll on the 22nd May! How I am looking forward to that!

Learning Grid Lesson #2
If you take notes out of a folder and put them in a new one. Don't take the old folder to the grid in the assumption that all your notes will be where you want them to be.
You would have thought that after 2 2/3 years at Warwick I would know how to set about doing a lot of work. However I have found myself in the Learning Grid with a few lessons to remember.
Learning Grid Lesson #1
Never come to the grid without cash for coffee or sweets. If no cash available at home, bring items from home or stop to pick up cash. £1.30 in cash is not acceptable either as after one americano, you are left with 10p. What are you supposed to do with that, especially when you need another 'pick me up.'

Didn't finish it last night, almost done now though. I've got to write it up in a good light even though it didnt necessarily work! Just two more sections to do, then I can go over my essays, check them. Hand it all in tomorrow and breathe a big sigh of relief! Main parts of work for this term will be done (other than project), Warwick Indoors done – so can relax a little bit!!
Speaking of Warwick Indoors, well done to Elliott More for taking some excellent photos! They can be seen here..
Me.. cathing a pull
Me almost Point Blocking Baboom – who we lost to 7–6 in our last game for 5th vs 6th place.

I got a letter this morning from a man at the tax office.. "..we don't think you have paid enough for that year to count towards your state pension.."
