Viareggio

As of 3am tomorrow morning, I am jetting off to Italy to go to Pisa and Lucca for the day, then off to the long, golden beaches of Viareggio for Burla Beach Cup (international ultimate frisbee beach tournament). Whilst I’m still not exercising much or drinking due the long recovery from Glandular fever, I will be lying in the sun a lot. I even had a dream last night where everyone complimented me on my tan. Nice.

Hopefully I’ll get a few good photos of people playing ultimate, water sports (not the dirty kind), sun, sea and sunsets. But for now, I’ll leave you with the weather forecast.

Ultimate goodness and Graduation!

I graduated yesterday and it was fun. Don't get me wrong, it was hot and boring at points, but really fun and I can't wait to do it again in January 2008! There was obligatory photos everywhere, in fact it was almost like a wedding. I had to get my photo taken with everyone, and by the end my face was set in this faux–geeky–grin. Hurt like hell. Both my brother and Dad were taking photos so there will be lots to choose from, but I'll upload some of the better ones. The main reason it was so good was to see my Grandparents so proud. Not much pleases my Grandfather, so to see him actually pleased about something was amazing!

In other news, I was emailed by an Ultimate Frisbee player who I've met a few times to ask if I wanted to represent the country in a tournament in Paris! Sadly its the same weekend as another tournament I've already committed to, so absolutely gutted!!

Beachfest 2006

Had a great time, very tired, slightly burnt. Will update later when I'm back in Kenilworth.

Aber Zoo

Off to a frisbee tournament this weekend. Not only are we seeded 1st (i.e. predicted to win the tournament) but the party on the saturday night the party is in their union and it is.. School Disco! I am so looking forward to this, it should be awesome :)

Im really looking forward to this, after this weekend 'it starts.' I've got 3 big essays to get out the way, then collate the data for my project, analyse it and write it up. Fun times! Then as soon as that is done, it is on with the revision. Bring on week 8 term 3!!

Outdoor Regionals day 2

So we won 3 lost 1 yesterday and kept our seeding of 5th. We are still in the qualifying bracket for division 2 right now, but are going to push for division 1 today (1st – 3rd places).

It was difficult to take pictures when we didn't have any gaps when other games were being played. But I did manage to get a few when I took a substitution or we finished our game early due to a point cap. For instance we beat this team (BUF2) 13–1 and as the cap was 13 points, we finished early.
