Infrared Lake
Camera: Fuji FinePix S602z
Filter: Hoya R72
Date: 23rd March 2006
Location: By the Gibbet Hill lakes, Campus
Shutter: 1.3s
Aperture: F/2.8
ISO: 200
Comments: The lake by infrared! I think this has come out really well; the texture of the sky, the few ducks off to the side and the reeds in front. The gradiated colour of the water is pretty interesting. Bits of the camera hood are shading the corners, I would crop them out but I think they add to the wide-angle effect.
Post-processing: Red and blue channels swapped, histogram stretched, sharpened

Spring Stroll
Camera: Fuji FinePix S602z
Filter: Hoya R72
Date: 23rd March 2006
Location: By the Gibbet Hill lakes, Campus
Shutter: 1/3s
Aperture: F/2.8
ISO: 400
Comments: I made the most of the sunshine, shirking revision for an hour to stroll by the lakes and snap the ducks and daffodils. You can see the daffs in the centre there, both flower and stem giving out equal amounts of near-IR light.
Post-processing: Red and blue channels swapped, sharpened, cropped out some vignetting
