We (me and Helen!) named the ducks in our first year in Arthur Vick. This one's Dorothy, usually to be found with Derek and David. :o)

Very nice. Although you could probably cuddle the things on campus they're that tame.

In Lakeside, there were too many ducks and geese, so we named the Swans. We called one "Mable" but she turned out Mable was a man-swan, so we renamed him Marbles. The swans were vicious beasts pecking for hours at our kitchen windows, terrorising for months on end.
