Calstock Viaduct

Camera: Canon Digital IXUS 50 (v3)
Date: 19th December 2005
Location: Calstock, Cornwall. 5029'47"N 412'33"W
Shutter: 1/6s
Aperture: F/2.8
Comments: Winner of the Mature Structures category in the Concrete Society's 2004 Awards, Calstock viaduct carries trains across the river Tamar. I like the atmosphere of this shot, as the sun set the temperature dropped and fog started rolling in.
Post-processing: Cropped top and bottom

  3. A real sense of depth, particularly in the clouds in the distance. Very realistic!
