The fake sound of progress…

Revision Appraisal.

Several months, reams of paper, biros, cups of tea, handwritten booklets of notes, late nights re-reading, library books, summaries and slices of toast have been used up. And my development notes still appear to be written in Klingon. Aaaaaaarrrgh! :s

And there's less than a week left :(

  1. Try drinking more tea.

  2. Will do :)

But as if all that wasn't enough, my desk lamp has finally died. It's been on it's deathbed since I was a fresher but has only just popped it's clogs having spent most of it's life baseless, springless, jointless, strapped to the side of a shelf and slowly disintegrating over my table. (heh, my engineering skills pwn)
And although I'm happy it's out of its misery I wish it had just hung on for a few more days until I'd finished revising! now I have to work in the kitchen :s

  3. Although on the plus side, I can make a godlike catapult with what's left of it :D

  4. I'll let you into the engineer's biggest secret: anything you can't fix with WD-40, duct tape will sort.

  5. Ah, hell yes. Duct tape is amazing, my personal favourite is the chrome finish one I found, it makes everything oh so shiny. Not forgetting electrical insulation tape too – so many colours!

At this point I would like to re-emphasise the fact that I am in no way as geeky as this comment makes me sound :\
