    Holly, I’m sorry to have to be the one to break it to you, but your shift is going to be a big pink fluffy pile of distress and tissues. And then they will go back to their rooms and blog. There is nothing in this world that makes the internet as attractive as total saturation of depression and alcohol – it’s the way of the web, there is just something deeply fulfilling about an annonymous broadcast.

    Mat, if it means that much to you, you can be my honourary valentine. Honourary only because there is someone I would ask but I couldn’t be more chicken if I were covered with feathers and laid eggs. If fact, as Doug Naylor so exquisitely put it, I have “a yellow streak larger than a herd of stampeding diarrhoetic camels”. Which sucks for me.

    But it does leave me more free time in which to take over the world with Andy. Narf.
