PSHE – Alcohol, Drug, Tobacco Education

We began by looking at alcohol statistics in the UK, discussing the worrying prevalence of alcohol among young people. There were particularly concerning anecdotes of drinking in schools.

Although alcohol is clearly a major problem, some of the statistics were worryingly vague. What does 15% of 10-17 year olds mean?

  • much education weak according to OFSTED
