INTERNATIONAL ACTION RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2015, 25-26 MAY 2015

Action research in education spreads throughout the world with the works of action research gurus, such as John Elliott, Stephen Kemmis, Jean McNiff, Bridget Someth, Christopher Day, Jack Whitehead, John McKernan, Herbert Altrichter, Richard Sagor, and others. Action research is also recognised as one of the reflective activities used in promoting reflection among practitioners towards developing the practitioners' or teachers' professionalism. Thus, action research has been implemented in many educational programmes to promote continuous professional development among educators and teachers.

MARA International Teacher Training Institute (MITTI) in collaboration with the Research and Development Unit of MARA Professional College Malacca, City Campus will be organizing "The International Action Research Conference 2015" which will be held at Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from May 25th until May 26th, 2015.

The conference is a platform for scholars and experts from a wide range of educational areas to discuss theories and practices related to teaching and research cases. We are structuring the conference as a collective learning experience for all the presenters and attendees. The conference offers multiple opportunities for "dialogues that matter" through a number of breakout sessions that include paper presentations and other social activities.
